Places We've Visited via Boat

• Oriental, NC - "Sailing Capital of NC" and home to our boat SV Betelgeuse. 900 residents and 3,000 sailboats.  It's the kind of place where everybody knows everybody and they're all willing to lend a hand.

Sailing Clubs

• Neuse Sailing Association - Affectionately referred to as the NSA.  The Sailing Club to which Sue and I belong.  Located mainly in Oriental, NC

• Vision Yachts 444 - The "perfect" catamaran for us!!
• Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 - Very nice catamaran with an elevated helm and separate fly bridge
• Leopard 45 - Beautiful new catamaran from Robertson & Caine
• Leopard 44 - The previous model to the Leopard 45; still a beautiful boat.
• Beneteau Oceanis 40 CC - Center Cockpit monohull that we own. Ours is a 1997 model.

• Inland Waterway Provision Company - Great marine supply, grocery-ish store and souvenir store located in Oriental, NC.  Super friendly and helpful resource right on the ICW.
• Deaton Yacht Services - Great, long standing, family owned full service center for boats located in Oriental, NC
• Defender Marine - Online sources for all thing boating.
• West Marine - Online and brick-and-mortar source for all things boating.  Pricey, but you can get what you need immediately, especially in their super small location in Oriental, NC (you'll probably see Ed working there).
